Eliana is almost 8 weeks old and boy has time flown by. She is growing by leaps and bounds--the folds of fat on her thighs prove it. We estimate that she is over 12 pounds now. She is much more alert now and able to track people's faces from across the room. She is vocalizing her vowels and sometimes even says "hi" by accident.
Our Eliana divides everyone she meets into two categories: "Mommy" and "Non-Mommy." She only lets Non-Mommy people hold her when she's in a good mood, or very drowsy. Otherwise, only Mommy is allowed to hold her. (Yes, Daddy unfortunately gets lumped into the Non-Mommy category.) We're trying to wean her of this, as Mommy sometimes needs a break.
Lots happens in one week and here is a snippet...
