Ballet Class!

Every week, both girls have been taking ballet class.  Karina especially likes being in the same class as her big sister.  A little bit before Christmas, the class did a performance for the parents.  The kids got into costumes and we came to watch.

Here is Mommy putting some finishing touches onto Karina's tutu.

Gabriel, of course, tags along.  Here he is exploring the dance floor before the show starts.

In the beginning, everyone starts by doing stretches.

And then more stretches...

And then the show begins.  Sorry, this is sort of long (about 10 min.) but it shows you the whole performance.  You will see the difference in motor coordination skills (and also attention span) between a 5 year old and a 3 year old.

And in the end, everyone poses for a picture…everyone except for Karina who is more interested in playing with her tights!
