Giggles...

One thing that stands out about Xiao Yu's personality is that he is really smiley and loves to laugh.  Whether its playing peek-a-boo, or going down the slide, or getting a tummy tickle, he laughs a lot.

On the flip side, he also gets ornery really quickly.  Just as quickly as he can get really happy, he can also get real mad, real quick.  His language isn't very developed yet, so we think this contributes to his frustration and he resorts to biting or hitting really quickly.  Also, this may be a defensive behavior that he learned at a young age.  We are working on that by trying to teach him sign language and we'll see if that helps!!
