Karina growing up...

Our little Karina continues to grow up...

At her preschool, this past year, she dressed up for the Chinese New Year celebration.
The kids did a little dragon dance.  That's her wearing the red dress and blue Frozen shoes!
Her drawing skills have taken off recently.  You can really tell from her drawings what she is drawing.  This is a drawing at pre-school and how she is a sleepy head!
She continues to enjoy building things and figuring out how things work.  Eliana recently asked while we were in the car stopped at a red light, "How do the stoplights on the street work?"  Karina had asked this questions years ago and proceeded to explain!
Karina enjoys being in the garden and here is helping Daddy plant lettuce seeds.
She also really likes maps and diagrams.  Every once in a while, she likes to draw a map of the house.  Here is her ideal house, showing different people's room.  The dining table is on the top floor!
She recently (in February) celebrated her half birthday.  She doesn't like cupcakes and so had a bowl of ice cream!
And we have just finished up preschool.  This was her last year at pre-school and was sad to leave.  She became really comfortable there and loved her teacher, Mrs. Walker.
Here is the entire graduating class.
Now she is headed off to kindergarten to be home schooled, which she is also looking forward to.
And here are her little hand prints--pink and purple, which are her favorite colors.
Congrats Karina!  She is taking a picture with Mrs. Walker and her little best friend from school and church.
