This summer, both Karina and Gabe decided that they wanted to play soccer in the fall. This may have been partly due to the World Cup being this summer. Anyways, both have joined teams and are enjoying themselves.
Karina's team is called Blue Lightining and despite being the youngest and one of the smallest, she enjoys practice and enjoys the matches.
Throughout the game, the coach rotates the girls through the various positions. Here she is in defense sending out a ball with a powerful kick!
Gabe is obsessed with soccer. He pretty much wants to play it all the time. His team is called Orange Robins. They settled on this team name even though others on the table were Viper Dragon and Orange Lightning. Gabe suggested Mustard as a team name, but none of his teammates latched on to that.
They took team pictures but Gabe wigged out and boycotted the pictures for some reason.
He loves playing and is very good at passing accurately most of the time. In a game two weeks ago, he even scored once! We can see him playing for many years to come!
