Chuck-E-Cheese

At preschool, some friend of Eliana's told her about this place called Chuck-E-Cheese and how it's really fun.  From that point forward, Eliana started asking us to take her there.  Emily finally consented to take her to Chuck-E-Cheese as a reward when Eliana finished her entire home school curriculum for the year.  (Emily has been doing home school with Eliana since last year.)

She finished everything in mid April, but we still weren't jumping up to take them...finally, Eliana has gotten her wish.  The two girls went while daddy stayed home with Gabriel.  We had some vouchers for free tokens, so they each got 20 tokens, to "spend" as they pleased.

The "toddler" section was divided between games and "rides".  Since the girls had no concept of winning tickets, nor were they able to play many of the games successfully, they spent a lot of time on the rides!  Here they are riding a Cinderella-esque coach that jostled around and played music.
This was one of those kiddie merry go rounds like you sometimes see out in front of a grocery store.  This was Karina's FAVORITE activity, and she rode it at least 8 times!

Eliana enjoyed the games a bit more, and actually could do OK at a few of them.  Here she is playing a Whack-a-mole type activity, but with sharks....her favorite game was one where you catch falling "apples" in a basket.  She played it 5 or 6 times.
Another ride...this one wasn't a big hit, because you had to pedal to power it, but their legs weren't long enough to reach the pedals!

Riding in a car with Chuck E Cheese!  This one also took a picture of you and printed it out when you finished the ride.
Back on the merry go round!
