"Sisters, be quiet!"

Gabriel's speech has made great strides in the past two months.  He has been putting three words together and is now picking up new phrases every week.  He will say:

--"What that noise?" when he hears a noise that he doesn't recognize.
--"Where?" when he's looking for something.
--"Eliana, come on!" when he wants someone to come along.
--"No nap, Gabriel eat!" when he doesn't want to take a nap but eat food.
--"Gabriel faz" which is Portuguese for "Gabriel do it", when he wants to do something instead of us helping him.
--"Closethedoor" when he is closing something, but not limited to doors.  He will say this when he is closing a book, shutting a laptop, or putting a lid on a jar.
--And last but not least: "Aqui" which Gabriel uses as a multiporpuse word.  In Portuguese, it means "here", but he also uses it as "this"or "look at this" or "can I do this" or "that over there".

And he used to call Eliana as "Yah-yah" and Karina as "Doh-yah-yah."  But now he is starting to say "Ey-anna" and "Kawee-na".

The other day, when Emily was putting Gabriel down for a nap, the girls were downstairs making a lot of noise.  And out of the blue, Gabriel yelled out, "Sisters!  Be quiet!"
