Crawling!



Gabriel is 9 months old now.  His four little teeth along the top are in now and they show up every time he grins, which is a lot.

 

He's generally a happy baby.  He is sleeping fairly well...sometimes he sleeps 6 hours at a stretch and sometimes he gets up 3 times a night...

He has recently decided that he only likes solid foods and not the mushy stuff--that's for babies!  He will eat cheese, scrambled eggs, bread, apples, and sweet potato french fries.  But he's not that good with his aim yet, and needless to say, most of the food misses his mouth and fall on the floor.

 

And, Gabriel is finally crawling!  He was "almost there" for a loooong time.  He was getting pretty frustrated, so it is nice that he can finally crawl!  He still doesn't totally realize he can crawl, and if we are on the other side of the room he cries for us, rather than coming over.  But, he is quickly figuring it out...so now we need to be a LOT more careful about what little toys are left on the floor, and clean up the mess under his high chair immediately after eating!  =)
