Karina has officially finished her first year of preschool. Halfway through the year, she really wasn't enjoying preschool that much and said she didn't want to go anymore. She was going through a 'shy' phase of her life. She has since come out of that and, although she doesn't love preschool like Eliana did, she is fine with it. Her preschool teacher says that Karina has "come out of her shell."
On the last day, we all went to preschool because Karina's class was going to do a little performance.
Here is Karina walking in. All the kids were wearing a bug costume that they created themselves.
The kids were to sit up front. Karina has a little friend of hers that she likes to sit next to. Little Lydia, however, broke down crying for some reason and had to go off stage to her mom. So Karina is attempting to save the chair next to her for Lydia, but unfortunately, Lydia wasn't coming...
Finally, all the kids got situated. You can see Mrs. Nuce, Karina's teacher, on the right.

And since Karina has a summer birthday, she got to celebrate her birthday on the last day of school along with the other kids with summer birthdays. She proudly wore her birthday crown for a couple of days.
